How do I get the most out of my NailedItByMay nails?

Each purchase comes with precise application and maintenance instructions, plus a complete nail prep kit with the following: Nail file, dual-sided nail buffer (rough & fine grit), cuticle pusher, alcohol swab, adhesive tabs, and nail glue. You should be prepping your natural nail prior to applying any type of adhesive to ensure a clean slate and allow the glue or tabs a porous surface to grip.

Do I need to buff the artificial nail?

No. Each set I create is mattified and pre-buffed on the underside of the nail to allow better adhesion. You may file the sides to blend in with your nail bed once they’ve been applied and the glue has completely dried. Cuticle oil is also recommended after application.

I’m worried these will fall off.

That’s understandable! While you’ll have all the tools necessary for proper application and care, artificial nails are not indestructible. There’s a learning curve when it comes to press-on nail longevity. Always keep nail glue handy just in case! Are these nails reusable?

Absolutely! Soak in hot water with Dawn dish soap for at least 10 minutes before attempting to remove. Prep your natural nails as if you’re applying my product for the first time. If you intend on using my nails regularly, I recommend purchasing an electric nail drill to buff any glue left behind on the artificial nails providing a clean surface.
